Agent-platform and MCP-gateway architecture

At Magnite, I architected the original prototype agent platform and its supporting gateway system. I developed the design through discussions with my manager and teammates. Ryan implemented the AI gateway under that architectural direction.

I designed the MCP gateway as a shared tool layer: one agent platform could use tools from teams across Magnite, for both internal and customer-facing work. MCP is the protocol that lets agents discover and call those tools.

Magnite later moved to a newer platform implementation. Some of my configuration and architectural designs continue, including the shared MCP tool-layer approach.
